Logan
Working Sheepdog who has been competing in Flyball since 2003, when he started as a 4 year old. Despite his age, his enthusiasm for Flyball remains and he shows no signs of slowing down holding his place in the first team.
Handled by Joanna.
Gem
8 year old Gem only started doing Flyball in 2007 but soon grasped the idea and is now a reliable team dog. Half sister to Belle, Gem is without a doubt the noisiest dog on the team, with her continuous barking!!
Handled by Martyn. (RESTING)
Ellie
Ellie is a 3 years old cross breed. Rescued by Janine in Nov 2008, Ellie started flyball almost immediately. She is showing great promise since progressing from our starter team . Ellie has a clear passion for flyball, evident by her continuous yapping!
Handled by Janine.
Bart
Bart is a Parson Jack Russell Terrier. After three years in training he finally achieved what we all thought to be impossible and gained 200 points giving him his “Flyball dog” title. After much deliberation it was decided to retire him from open competitions as his desire to show off and play “catch me if you can” became too much for his handler and team mates! Bart is enjoying his early retirement and occasionally entertains the crowds in starter competitions with his antics!
Tarn
The youngest of Joanna and Martyn dogs with a real drive for flyball. A tuggy is used to give him a real turn of speed, using the box efficiently to push off back down the lane to have a game of tug with his handler. Handled by Janine
Rowan
Rowan is litter brother to Logan, and started flyball in the same year. Rowan is very reliable, and still competes at the age of ten. Rowan is quite unusual being completely white with a few black spots, but it makes it very easy to pick him out in a crowd of collies!
Handled by David or Janine. (RETIRED)
Belle
Born in 1999 on a farm, high up in the hills of the Peak District. Belle has been competing in Flyball since 2003. She has to run last dog as she hates the idea of another dog going for a “precious” tennis ball after her.
Handled by Martyn.
Sito
Sito has been Flyballing since 2007 and is handled by Jayden (Joanna’s son), one of our junior handlers. He is great fun to watch and can sometimes surprise us when we least expect it by being easily distracted by birds and butterflies instead of getting the ball from the box.
Benji
Born November 2008 Jack russel cross, was rescued in 2009 by Janinie and family and is currently in our starter team.
Wilson
Wilson comes from a breeder who also does flyball, With Flyball in the blood Wilson has taken to it extremely quickly. He is sometimes too clever for his own good and can catch a ball from any angle. He’s as big as a lion and has at times been described as “stocky” but this is just his thick coat and it certainly doesn’t slow him down going over those jumps!!
Owned and jointly handled by Andrew and Sarah.

Tess
Tess is a Border Collie born to a farming community in Alfreton, Derbyshire in May 2010. She loves walks around Langold Lake and through the woods. She enjoys chasing the crows, hearding them like sheep! Tess enjoys flyball and has taken to it exceptionally quickly having watched the others training since Mark brought her along as a tiny pup as soon as her vaccinations allowed, to socialize. She is Obedient to task but still a young whipper snapper who loves her cuddles during her training. Owned and Handled by Mark
